Whining

I read over yesterday’s post (and some of the comments I received) and realized that it could easily have come across as whining. While I’m not thrilled about losing so many followers in one week, I thought I should clarify what I was getting at with the post.

I’m actually quite happy with the direction of the blog these days. I feel like I’m a little more focused with what I want to offer the blogsphere. I’m under no illusions of having thousands of people following this thing. In fact, my target group are the people connected to the two churches I pastor. I want this site to be a place where they can connect with me a little better than they can during church services. I also want to use the blog to enhance the messages from the services.

So, I really wasn’t complaining … or whining yesterday. If anything, I was a little baffled that so many would unsubscribe in the same week.

I figured I should clarify that before I preach this week, since part of my message is going to talk about those who are always whining about their problems. Hate to put myself in the same camp!

It’s only whining because nobody listens and you want them to listen some time it get the desired affect… They listen to the message and not the way it was given
