The Next Story

I’ll admit it: I wrestle with the amount of technology in my life. At least I’ve been wrestling with it lately. I’m finding myself wanting to just “log off” more often. I’m finding myself using the word “balance” when it comes to my use of technology.

This morning, I came across a new book by Tim Challies called, The Next Story: Life and Faith after the Digital Explosion. It looks very interesting. Very interesting. In fact, I immediately downloaded it to my Kindle (which seems a little ironic, I suppose). The Kindle version is only $6.39 if you order before April 11th.

If you want to read more about the book, check out Tim’s overview here. If you want to order the book through Amazon, click here.

Here’s the book’s “trailer”:

Adam McHugh in his book ‘Introverts in the Church’ (an excellent read for everyone) touches on this topic as well. I just may have to download Tim’s book as well. Any initial thoughts?

To be honest, I’ve only “cracked the cover”. Gonna try and dive into it today. Looks interesting, though!

I feel that, this is happening in everybody’s life. Now a days, Technology has improved a lot. It has both advantage and also disadvantage. Whatever may be, we want to face the problem.
