Weekly Report

Another great week.

Bikers’ Church

  • I wasn’t sure what to expect at Bikers’ Church. I was able to count at least 20 regulars that I knew would be away this week, and yet we had 90 adults! It really does continue to blow my mind. Cam did a great job with worship, and there is a positive buzz among the people.
  • I loved hearing the story of one person who approached me before the service to tell me how much she was enjoying the services. She had never been to church prior to two weeks ago, and was blown away by the service. She missed last week, but has watched the video. She was back this week and very excited about the service.

City Church

  • Every week, new faces. It’s amazing to me. I’m trying to get to know everyone, but it’s going to take some time.
  • I thought it might be a bit of a “dead” service. During pre-service, everyone seemed tired and a little quiet. I know I was exhausted. And yet, once again, as soon as the worship team launched into their set, things turned. Cam really is coming into his own and I love watching him develop into a top notch worship leader.
  • I’m hearing some great things from some of the new families. They are loving the format, the series, and the people they are getting to know each week.

Overall, a good week for both churches. I think it’s safe to say that we now have a core group of at least 100 people at each church. It’s better than I had anticipated moving into the Spring. I am grateful for what God is doing.
