Speaking of Dying …

COkay, I’m not sure, but I think this is creepy.

A friend send me this link the other day. In the video, you will see David Morales Colon from Puerto Rica, sitting on his CBR 600 F4. The only thing is, he’s dead. The video is from his funeral. He was embalmed, casually dressed and positioned on his bike.

Creepy? You decide.

Good for the family for celebrating in a way that a life lost will still bring them some happiness. The man was shot to death and not in a bike accident. Why not? What would have been creepy is the same funeral home embalmed one guy and at the family’s request had him propped up in the corner.

I remember saying to My Brothers, Point me in the direction of the Party when I die.Now I just want to be in my side car going to the Memorial.What a cool idea.Awesome way to be remembered.I’ll continue to Pray for the family involved in this video.Guess when you look at death as a new life,with JESUS , and how short this one is.To Be remembered by your Brothers and Sisters could be about the good times we had together. hmmmmm… I expected it to be creepy, but it wasn’t.
I told my husband about this, and he raised his eyebrows — to which I responded ‘no way’. I can see that this would have suited this guy, and I’m glad the family did it the way they wanted. I just don’t think I could handle seeing my husband on his bike like that. and that may be selfish of me– if that’s the way my husband wants it, I should honor his request.
