Long Way Down

Last night I had the opportunity to do dinner and a movie with the home group I attend. It was a great time!

We watched the two hour documentary, “The Long Way Down”. It was a one night only viewing at SilverCity. The movie follows the adventure of Ewan McGregor (from Star Wars fame) and Charley Boorman as they ride a couple of BMW motorcycles from Scotland to Cape Town.

The movie summarizes a 10 part series that will be shown on Discovery Channel HD this Fall. I highly recommend you making time to watch the show. Even if you’re not into motorcycles, you will thoroughly enjoy the people and cultures that they experience on this trip.

This journey is a follow up to one they did a few years ago, called “The Long Way Round” in which they went from London to New York (going West).
