If you’ve ever had my mother-in-law’s pie, you know it’s true: there is no better pie to be found. In fact, I challenge anyone. If you make better pie than Kathy, send me one (Pumpkin or Raspberry / Rhubarb) and I’ll give you my verdict
It’s not PIE, but… If you’re ever in Sturgeon Falls, go check out the cheesecake at a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant called La Bonne Cuisine. Heck, it might not still be there, nor might the girl who used to make the deserts there, but the cheesecake was so amazing I almost proposed marriage. Which would have been really funny because she didn’t speak a lick of English.
