Letterman After McCain Bailed On Him

I love seeing Letterman mad. McCain was supposed to go on his show, but bailed on him so that he could “rush back to Washington.” Instead, he went on CBS.

    I love Dave Letterman — I think he’s the best thing to ever happen to Late Night TV. This bit was funny and Dave obviously felt, as Keith suggested, “dissed”.
    In all fairness to McCain he was called to Washington for an unprecidented, historic bi-partisan summit at the white house. This is by far the largest crisis the U.S. economy has ever faced and either McCain or Obama is going to inherit the reprocusions of the bailout plan. Choices made today (appear on Letterman, debate in Mississippi, stay in Washington, etc.) will have far reaching reprocusions. I don’t envy either of them right now.
