Bible Fetish?

So … can a peson have a “Bible Fetish”? Is there such a thing?

A few years ago, I gave away all the Bibles I was no longer using. I had an entire box full — around 15 — that I donated to a church library. It left me with four that I was still using. In the past three years, I’ve seen that grow again to a nice dozen. I just bought another one today.

Do I need therapy?

    but they are so beautiful!!!! the paper.…the COLORS!!!!!!! I have one that is bright lime green! ok so I love the kids bibles — easy to read and come with LOTS of explanations.

    Hmmmmm… well I have about 40 Bibles — guess I should be committed to an asylum?

    Having more than you need, even if it is bibles, is wasteful and sinful. Take the money that you would want to use on “another” bible, and immediately donate it to charity, or give it to someone in need. Then you will be living up to the words in the Bible, the word of Jesus, who said “sell all you have, then follow me” to the rich man.
