So, why is it when you have a busy day with a very late night expected, that the night before is full of waking up, not sleeping, etc. Tonight I have to travel to Cobourg to be a part of a service there, so it means a very late night. So, of course, last night, the cat’s woke me up, Christina has some friends sleep over, and they were up a million times, and I generally just laid awake!
Oh well, some of my better sermons happen when I’m “sleep-talking”!

Yesterday I was at Snake’s Swap Meet. It’s always a great time, with a chance to see some guys that I don’t see all winter. I was so proud of the Biker Church folk. Not only did we have some of the only bikes there (c’mon people, get out and ride!), but we had a tremendous number of volunteers (like every year). I think it’s so cool how our members give of their time and energy on such a consistent basis. I’m proud of you guys!
Still, a few of us were talking, and it seems like ebay has killed the swap meet. When you think about it, why would someone go and look through boxes and boxes of junk, hoping to find the one part they need, when they could just type the part into ebay’s search box and have it right away. Of course you have to wait for the part to show up (assuming you win the bidding), but so what? I know a few guys in the church who have found almost all the parts to build a bike using ebay. I gotta get on that thing more often.
